Here is another delicious way to use up leftover ham. I used to make pineapple and ham sandwiches before, but this is my other favorite way to use leftover ham: for a wholesome salad. Enjoy it with some crackers and slices of cheese (preferably Swiss).
Yield 2¾ cups | Prep. time 20 minutes | Cooking time 0 minutes
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 teaspoons dried onion flakes
2 cups ham, fat trimmed off and diced into
½-inch cubes ½ cup Miracle Whip mayonnaise
1 teaspoon stone-ground mustard
1 tablespoon sweet pickle relish or dill pickle relish
Sliced Swiss cheese
Butter crackers, cut into squares
Add all the ingredients except the relish to a blender or food processor. Blend to make a thick paste (do not over-blend or the mixture will be too thin).
Add the paste to a bowl and mix in the relish. Serve
